A: The SS-SC uses single-mode fiber for distances up to 40km, while the MM-SC uses multi-mode fiber for up to 5km.

Q: Does it support wide temperature ranges?

A: This is the standard model (-10 to 60°C). For extreme cold or heat, the EDS-408A-SS-SC-T (-40 to 75°C) is required.
