Endress+Hauser Levelflex FMP53: Guided Wave Radar for Hygienic Level Measurement

Designed for the highest hygiene requirements
The Endress+Hauser Levelflex FMP53 is a guided-wave radar transmitter for continuous liquid level measurement in hygienically sensitive food and life sciences applications. Its hygienic process connections, rod probe design and documented compliance options help engineers meet demanding cleaning, product-safety and validation requirements.
FMP53 is not simply a standard level transmitter with a sanitary fitting. The complete order code determines the process connection, probe length, wetted materials, housing, communication, approvals and documentation. Correct selection should therefore start with the process, cleaning method and regulatory requirements.
Why Choose the Levelflex FMP53?
Designed for food and life sciences duties with hygienic connection choices and suitable compliance documentation.
Guided radar supports stable measurement with moving surfaces, foam, changing media and filling through a spray head.
Endress+Hauser highlights in-situ validation without removing the instrument from the process.
How Guided Wave Radar Works
High-frequency radar pulses travel along the rod probe. When the signal reaches the liquid surface, part of it is reflected to the transmitter. The measured travel time is converted into level. The guided signal path helps reduce the influence of vessel geometry and difficult surface conditions.
